Worcestershire Care

“We endeavour to provide a person centered provision of service that can be seen, felt and heard, enabling people to live a life rich in choice and dignity”

Welcome

Worcestershire Care based in Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire, consists of three person centered care homes, Dunley Hall and Minster Grange are both located in Stourport-on-Severn and Field View in Redditch.

Each home has a unique identity within the demographic area and can provide care for residents from Worcestershire, Herefordshire and throughout the West Midlands and counties beyond. Worcestershire Care have invested heavily in the development of Ryan's Court, the newly built dementia care wing of Dunley Hall.

Ryan's Court provides a unique level of care for people with dementia. Regional Manager Lizzie Flood has been widely acknowledged as a leading figure head for dementia care in the West Midlands reforming how people with the condition are cared for to ensure every resident of Ryan's Court leads a meaningful and fulfilled lifestyle.

Worcestershire Care's investment in Ryan's Court demonstrates a true commitment to the care and well being of its residents.

The provision of services at all the care homes in Stourport and Redditch has been tailored to the requirements of older people who have chosen to live in one of our residencies.

Our reputation has been achieved by the dedication of the registered providers and managers in the established seamless service provided to any individual in need of support to enable them to continue living an occupied and fulfilled life.

Our ethos

All managers are dedicated to the philosophy of person centered care that underpins the provision of service. The primary factor of our care practice is visually seen, felt and heard from staff who work from the heart, enabling a real connection to people who reside in the homes.

Facilities and activities

The homes are registered to provide homely residential, daily living and personal care for people over the age of 65 years male and female, including married couples or partners who may be experiencing difficulties associated with physical disabilities, dementia and medical issues associated with older age.

Each home provides internal services linked to hairdressing, podiatry, manicures, reflexology, Holy Communion and seasonal activities.

Meaningful occupation is a major component of Dunley Hall and Ryans Court (dementia wing) care practice. Staff assist people to engage in small tasks connected to their past jobs and daily domestic tasks that are stored deeply in the memory.

Achieving provides a sense of feeling busy, useful and occupied but most importantly being successful in their daily life.

We cordially invite people to view the homes unannounced to ascertain if the services and environments are relevant for meeting the needs of the individuals.
