The location

Field ViewField View is a contemporary home located in a semi rural setting of Redditch, ten minutes from the heart of the town centre. 

The home was designed and built fifteen years ago to meet the needs of older people requiring a residential placement. The reputation of the home is based on the warm and friendly atmosphere created by the dedicated acting manager and staffing team who provide an excellent provision of care practice to each unique person who resides at the home.

The gardens to the rear to the home are well maintained and attached to woodland, you will frequently see foxes, badgers and rabbits visiting the garden. We actively encourage the wildlife into the garden where residents feed and observe them.
There is a also a patio area where staff and residents enjoy summer BBQ’S with families and friends of the home.

Main facilities

The home is registered in providing a care service to twenty older people, male and female who are experiencing issues with physical and mental difficulties connected with older age. We have an in house activities co-coordinator who organizes a variety of stimulating activities through out the day where people have the choice of participating or to go to a quieter part of the home where they can read or listen to music.
We also provide in house associated services offered on a weekly basis, include hairdressing, chiropody, reflexology, dentist and manicures.

Management

Becky Penny has been the acting manager for the past two years and is currently in the process of applying for the registration with CQQ. She has ten years experience within the field of older persons care, is has achieved her Registered Managers level four in management, she works from a person centered perspective and promotes equality for all who live and work at Field View.
The deputy manager, Debbie Bott maintains a high standard of organization within the home ensuring all resident’s needs are addressed and met with the appropriate care practice ensuring dignity, choice and empathy are paramount with the resident being involved in all decision making.
